HEELS UNDER MY FLATS!?
CHAPTER – 6
Oh, hello everyone. I’m sorry for the short introduction. I’m just so eager to tell you what happened inside that mysterious room and I guess you are too. Let’s dive in.
I walked inside the room and Sulochana came running to close the door.
“UHH…. GUYS?” I said with so much struggle as respiration was harder for my lungs and my heart became agitated and started to beat faster.
Why did my organs start to malfunction? Because my eyes saw something that it has never seen. Let me explain the scenario for you.
The bedroom where the incident took place, was quite a large one (let’s skip the mathematical calculations because I’m allergic to it!) to accommodate 3 members along with their suitcases of surprises, twists and reflex actions. Coming to the characters in the room, to my perspective, I saw only the backside of Sulochana as she stood in the same direction like me, in quite a few distance, probably in the center of the room. Opposite to her was the man behind this scene, Mr. Niranj, who was on his knees before his love. Ahh, I know, it was shocking but the main element was not them but the third person who stood near Niranj, with a bleeding nose.
I mean, it was literally bleeding. This weird and unexpected person in this scenario was Marlon. Apart from these 3 weird characters, there was another character who added to the room’s weirdness, which was me, your narrator, who was standing on the entrance with her phone reaching the ground with a bang.
I badly wanted to know what those 3 people were up to and therefore I brought back my senses and listened to their explanations.
“Shreya, sit down. We’ll explain everything but you need to promise us that this will not leave this room.” Sulochana said, as she made me sit on the bed.
“Alright. But before that, Marlon is losing his blood, where’s the first-aid kit?” I said and stood up to help him out, while Niranj explained what happened.
“What happened was, Marlon and I came here, to this room, to put on our night clothes, while we ran into an argument about our crushes. Sometime later, our verbal conversation turned into physical interaction.” said Niranj, who was interrupted by Marlon who pushed my helping hand away from his wounded nose so as to explain me what happened.
“Why did it become violent? Because you spoke badly about my girlfriend, Ashwathi. Why would you do that? That’s why I criticized your crush, Sulochana. It’s equal.” Marlon said.
Before Niranj could react to that, he was stopped by Sulochana who pushed him to sit on the bed while she sat on the chair near to him.
“This explains the blood in Marlon’s mouth but what about the knee-bending ceremony with you and Sulochana?” I asked Niranj.
“About that… During this fight, Marlon and I had to use each other’s crushes’ names so as to be specific and respectful. Therefore, during the argument, I said that I love Sulochana and that Marlon does not know how much I love her and all that stuff. Just as I finished my confession, we heard a door open. With each other’s right hand on each other’s collars, we turned to indulge in a shock as it was Sulochana who came out of the bathroom, which we thought was empty. She gave us a stare that spoke the words of peace, humanity and love, therefore I let Marlon go and decided to strengthen my love. That’s when I went on my knees and did propose her, while we heard another door open and that was you! So, there goes the story.” Niranj said as he blushed along with Sulochana. However, Marlon was high on irritation and gave me a sarcastic stare, like the heroes would react if the comedians got a partner for romance.
“So we have another couple in the house?” I asked with a wink to which Sulochana and Niranj gave a chorus answer, ‘YES’.
“Great, congrats both of you.” I said.
“How about Aadarsh and you? We know you are into a secret relationship / rather a private one. Is that right?” asked Niranj.
“When is Aadrash going to break my mouth to get his life-partner?” asked Marlon.
“Please make it official, I can’t wait to tease you both in public!” said Sulochana.
“Guys, it’s nothing like that. We are JUST FRIENDS, its only friendship and nothing else.” I said.
This was when I remembered Aadarsh’s statement of how his proposal wasn’t a prank. “Was he proposing me?” I thought and decided to get out of this black hole and so I said that I was hungry and left.
Just when I came out, I saw Aadarsh again alone on the sofa, this time I decided to find the truth of whether he truly loved me or not. Or was he ready to be my life-partner. I went near him, he gave me a smile and handed my bowl of curd rice as I sat near him. I ate a spoon of it and spoke.
“Hey, about what you said back there in the terrace…” before I could finish, we heard a scream from another bedroom where the other girls were there.
“OH GOD! WHAT NOW?” I thought
and ran to rescue the girl in danger. Or was she really into one?
Why don’t we meet next week? And about my cell-phone, it is very well, nothing to worry. I hope you are all good in health and wealth too. Take care and hang on till next Friday. There’s more to the story.
